SIGNIFICANCE
  • 1.To the University Administrators – the equipping that will take place will enable the University to acquire specialized training in running an internationally recognized assessment and training center and thus operate the Center within the required standards of operation of LGIS;
  • 2. To the Trainers – the project will be a follow through vital in providing needed support and reinforcement of their learning since all that they have learned will be effectively applied with the support of a fully operational ACTC;
  • 3. To the University community in general to have an internationally recognized assessment center and training center fully operational right in their campus elicits such pride and prestige among the students and the community in general.
  • 4. To the ACTC Administrators the ability to generate revenue using process and business strategies will enable the PRMSU ACTC to start operations correctly and avoid unnecessary risks, legal claims and expenditures. ACTC Administrators, likewise, can operate the Center in a manner that promotes prudent expenditure of limited resources and achieve profitable operations which eventually could provide the much needed new source of fund needed to help the University meet its recurring expenditures.
  • 5. To the Participants - ACTC will be able to develop the capability of those they will nominate for this training and learn how to operate and manage its internal operations, identify and develop its market, establish key processes for its governance and operations and achieve financial sustainability and International Certification for Learners.
  • 6. LEARNERS- Earn Internationally accepted qualifications.
SCOPE AND LIMITATIONS

Accreditation will cover the provision of consultancy services in developing, designing and implementing both virtual and on-site assessment and training of an ACTC. Trainings will assist those that will be assigned to the ACTC prepare to help them acquire the skills and understanding on how an ACTC is operated and managed for sustainability and compliance. Most importantly, it is the design of this training to effect a smooth transfer of know how and skills in running an internationally recognized ACTC and maintain its good standing with LGIS as an approved ACTC with rights to offer international qualifications and approved training by internationally coded trainers. Includes training on all the certification resources that the Center may need to be able to operate all the international qualifications offered by LGIS.

ACTC Framework
  • 1. Can be a venue of exam or assessment;
  • 2. Can be a Training Center (Trainers and Candidates);
  • 3. Can provide mock exams and test runs for a fee;
  • 4. Can decide on their own training and mock exam fees ;
  • 5. Can apply for renewal (Must undergo Audit);
  • 6. Can not transfer to any other venue or at any other address other than that approved, without prior approval from LGIS Qualifications Assessment Authority and the awarding body. ( 1 Venue = 1 Accreditation Application);
  • 7. Can not use logo of LGIS and other International Council Members Certification without approval from LGIS Head Office;

    2. Must be accredited by LGIS Chief Quality Reviewer at the expense of the institution applying for accreditation (Please refer to ACTC Memorandum of Agreement 1.2.8 – Must handle the cost of accreditor’s food, transportation, accommodation and appearance fee )
    3. Can Do Their Own Curriculum Mapping According to Course Specifications
    4. Can identify which level of exams their candidates will take
    5. ACTC with Affidavit of Undertaking on the committed number of examinees must pay Examination Fee 25 Days before the exam delivery;
    6. Rebates privileges for the institution and the Internationally coded trainer for every statement of attainment issued to global learners enrolled in LGIS Online University.
